Had a funny conversation with the kids I nanny today regarding insects and straws.

Me:(Looking down a straw before handing it to Alex)

Alex: "What are you doing?"

Me: "Checking for sneaky spiders."

Max: "What for?"

Me:(making a grossed out face) "Well, once I didn't check a straw before using it and I ended up swallowing a spider that had crawled inside!"

Alex and Max: "Eww! Gross!"

Teagan: Did you like it?"

She was not kidding. It was hilarious!
