I made Snickerdoodle cookies the other day and like every other time I have put my magical powers to work to create amazing goodness; I left a plateful of them on the community kitchen table. Beside the plate was a sign I made saying, "Snickerdoodle cookies. Viel Vergnügen! (Please Enjoy)" One of the other German students here came in and took a bite of one and promptly asked after reading the sign, "What's a 'doodle'?" :) That simple question made my day and made me smile.
