Cooking Adventures!

This past Sunday, Amy (a scholar here at the IEG) and I dipped our toes into the wonderful world of Indian cooking. Another scholar here, Mrinalani, is from India and she graciously taught us how to make two traditional dishes. We in turn decided to host lunch for the 5th floor and see what everyone thought of our culinary attempt! The main dish was marinated chicken in a creamy coriander chili sauce and the other was a shrimp and potato dish. The chicken dish could have been a bit spicier, but not a bad turnout for our first try.

Here we all are. The 5th floor consists of from left:
Hubert (from Berlin), Justyna, Alexsandra (both from Poland), Amy (from Texas),
and you know who I am. Normal picture followed by a silly one.

Patrick (from Frankfurt, Germany), Francesco (from Pisa, Italy),
Dave (from Iowa), Mrinalini (from India), and Mads (from Denmark).
