On day 2 of our trip driving to München, we stopped at Schloss Ambras. According to Wikipedia, who frankly words the specs of the place a whole lot better than myself, Schloss Ambras is a Renaissance castle and palace located in the hills above Innsbruck, Austria. It was built in the sixteenth century on the spot of an earlier tenth-century castle, which became the seat of power for the court of Andechs. The cultural and historical importance of the castle is closely connected with Archduke Ferdinand II (ruler of further Austria) and served as his residence from 1563-1595. 

 The Archduke had many rooms dedicated to displaying suits of armor.
