 Colorful leaves on a walk.

"That time of year thou mayst in me behold
When yellow leaves, or none, or few, do hang
Upon those boughs which shake against the cold,
Bare ruined choirs, where late the sweet birds sang."
- Shakespeare

The leaves have changed and are slowly falling away here in Munich. The temperature has dropped and is a consistent 35 degrees. Cherry red noses and scarves are everywhere hustling and bustling with daily life. Munich is gearing up for it's yearly Christmas Market, the Weinachtsmarkt which opens on the 24th of this month. Soon enough the city streets will be full of good smells from freshly baked goods, Glühwein, to pretzels. Each merchant selling off excellent handmade goods and successfully tempting even those with tight wallets to shovel out cash. Oh, the cheer and merriment that comes along with the Christmas season! There is nothing like it! But first we must make it to Thanksgiving with a proper turkey meal and delicious homemade pumpkin pie!

Enjoy the burst of color in the leaves before all the trees are stripped bare!
