As promised, here are the photos I took one day while out walking around Mainz. 

This is the Mainzer Dome. We have a fantastic view of this beautiful building from our window. 

 This is the market square in front of the Mainzer Dome. The Saturday market is held here. 

 If you walk past the Mainzer Dome you enter into the Alt Stadt. (Old city)

 Love the style of architecture. 

 We have tons of these Weinhaus' in Mainz. They are great places to try out local wines and relax and chat. 

 Love the cobble stone streets.
