Best Friends Forever

My best friend just had her Birthday yesterday and I wanted to tell you all why she's special to me.

When you choose your Maid/Matron of Honor it's typically your best friend, but there's other reasons as well. When asked to be a Maid/Matron of Honor, the bride to be is asking you to be there for her. She's asking you to hold her accountable in all areas of life and to have her back.

Chelsea Berkompas has been there for me. Ever since our mother's forced us to hang out over ten years ago. If it wasn't for them, we probably wouldn't be friends today.
Thank you Mrs. Tuck and Mom!

She's a role model for all young women/mother's out there. I can only hope to be like her someday. She's artistic, free spirited, and one heck of a woman! Did you know that not only does she raise two young ones, keep her house tidy, is an amazing cook, but she backpacks through Utah?!
Amazing right?!

This woman and I have been through so much together. We've been there for each other when other friendships fell apart, when certain things in our lives seemed hard, when we didn't understand our parents, through graduation, and eventually through marriage.

We've had many fun adventures while camping with each other's families, just being silly, and a thousand goofy pictures to prove it.

Thank you Chelsea for being you and helping me to be a better friend and woman. :)

Here's to you fellow duck lover!

Those were some fun years, no?

True friendship is a treasure -- so glad the two of you have maintained yours despite the many miles between you. :)

Love,

Mom
