On Sunday we took a short walk to the English Gardens here in München. It's bigger than Central Park in NY and we heard that you could surf on the Eisbach river too. So we had to check it out. :)

I'm not sure how this was created and don't think it was ever intended to be a hot spot for surfers, but at this point in the river there are two huge swells that cause one continuous wave.  Perfect for practicing surfing on. There were about five guys all taking turns and all were pretty good too!
